Peter Hordern is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser. He is a retired partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers and Minter Ellison having over 35 years as a partner in those firms. He continues in private practice.
During his time in professional practice, Peter has advised clients in relation to mergers and acquisitions, financial transactions, insolvency and personal taxation matters. He has a wide experience in energy and mining, financial services and not for profit sectors.
In addition to serving as a Board member of Oceania Australia Foundation, Peter is the Chairman of Trustees of the Marian & EH Flack Trust. This trust is the Legacy of Edwin Flack, Australia’s first Olympian, and distributes around $2 million to charity each year.
Peter is also the President of The Australian German Association, an organisation that now provides fellowships to Australian citizens for travel to Germany for research purposes.
