The Griffith University Oceania Australia Foundation Athletics Business Scholarship continues to transform lives, enabling talented athletes to pursue their academic dreams while excelling in their sporting careers. Two remarkable scholarship recipients, Braelynn Yee and Adrine Monagi, exemplify the program's success in developing well-rounded student-athletes.

Braelynn, who faced a particularly challenging first trimester juggling a heavy academic workload with an intense athletics season, credits the scholarship's support system for helping her maintain strong academic performance while advancing her athletic career.

"The support has helped me keep up my grades and continue improving in my sport," she shares. Looking ahead, Braelynn is excited about future opportunities, including participation in the Cruise Industry Experience program.

For Adrine, the scholarship has provided more than just financial assistance – it has created a valuable support network committed to her success. Working closely with lecturers and Sports College administrators, she has found effective ways to balance her rigorous training schedule with academic requirements. The program's flexibility, including assessment extensions when needed, has been crucial to her achievement in both areas.

Both scholars emphasize how the scholarship has helped them develop crucial time management skills and provided the flexibility needed to pursue excellence in academics and athletics simultaneously. The support extends beyond financial aid, encompassing academic guidance, athletic development, and professional networking opportunities.

The scholarship, backed by Griffith University, Oceania Australia Foundation, and Oceania Athletics, continues to demonstrate the power of comprehensive support in nurturing student-athletes. As these scholars work toward their Bachelor of Business degrees, they're not just building their futures – they're setting an inspiring example for aspiring student-athletes across Oceania.
